Céline is a DR Congo-born, South-Africa raised creative based in Cape Town.

She was a good African child and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Cape Town, and then swiftly went on to study acting in Los Angeles. In film school, she discovered that her love of writing translated to the screen, too. The year after she graduated, she created, wrote and starred in her award-winning comedy web series ‘Jess Goes West.’ Since then, she has received acclaim for her satirical comedy work, including ‘The Wapidemic‘ and ‘Cape Town Royalty Programme.’

She began turning her poetry into music in her 3rd year of Engineering. The creative outlet to keep her sane during studies turned out relatively well, and her songs ‘Dare You to Move’ and ‘How Do You Sleep?’ were playlisted on local radio stations. During her time in Los Angeles, she collaborated with Polish producer Mario S on two singles, “Stronger” and “22 Days.” Since returning to Cape Town, she has continued writing songs, the most recent release being ‘Fancy Love.’

She is currently working on various creative projects. Other than her own secret endeavours for world domination, she voices the role ‘Marjory’ in Netflix’s first African original animated series ‘Supa Team 4‘ and is the co-host of Season 2 of South African satire news show ‘Politically Aweh.’
